Open Journal
A Space for Reflection — Beyond the Sparkle
A personal space where I explore what lies beneath the surface of beauty — and how creativity, care, and purpose can live together.
Why I’m starting this
For some months now, I’ve been playing with the thought of bringing more depth into my brand. Don’t get me wrong — I love jewelry. I love the feeling it gives me when I wear it. I love the sparkle.
But as a young woman, I always knew I wanted to help people. That’s why I became a nurse — and only a few weeks into my training, I already knew I wanted to work in psychiatry.
A quiet space asking for meaning
Building a brand that couldn’t be further from what I once did started to feel strange lately. I began to sense an emptiness, a quiet space inside me that asked to be filled with purpose. But what does purpose even mean? And how do we find it? It’s not that simple.
Because I believe many who read this might relate to what I’m feeling, I’ve decided to start an open journal — a place where I can share my thoughts as they come and see where they lead me.
I don’t want to give up the sparkle — I want to connect it to something deeper.
Beauty, awe, and why they still matter
I feel the need to express more of what lies beneath the surface. For me, focusing only on the material aspects of luxury has begun to feel empty; I long to connect the sparkle with something deeper.
Perhaps it’s part of getting older — turning 40, watching my children grow up, witnessing the events of the last few years — that has made me question and reflect more deeply. At the same time, art, creativity, and beauty are essential. Moments of awe can lift our mood, support healing, and renew our sense of hope. Art engages our brains, influences our emotions, and fosters creativity. It inspires, gives strength, and energy.
I don’t want to give up what I do; I want to infuse it with more meaning. How exactly that will look will reveal itself over time — but this open journal is a first step.
What to expect here
Short reflections. Honest notes. Sometimes messy, sometimes clear. I’ll write about lived moments, personal experiences, thoughts, and the themes that occupy me — in the hope that someone out there feels connected, seen, or inspired. Thoughts on craft, care, and the small rituals that make us feel human.
If something resonates, I’d love to hear from you — WhatsApp, DM, or email — whatever is easiest for you.
